“Community Needs” Projects
- 36 quilts per year (or annually) are distributed to Glacier View Lodge, Cumberland Care Facility and St. Joseph’s Extended Care. These quilts are used by the residents for their comfort.
- 40 quilts are made annually for St. Joseph’s Maternity Ward and given to moms and babes with special needs.
- 12 quilts go to the Tots and Teddies Program at Vanier High School annually for children who attend that daycare while their moms finish their education.
- Meals on Wheels receives our donation of placemats in (or every) June.
- The Cancer Society receives fluffy bags and comfort cushions from us once a year to help support patients who have had surgery.
- Many of our Guild members make quilts that are donated to local fund raising events.
